Customer Service Apprenticeships

Getting Customer Service Skills

If you’re a people person with great communications skills, a Customer Service apprenticeship could be just the thing for you. You’ll learn how to build positive relationships with customers from all backgrounds, and all the procedures and practices you need to be a successful Customer Service Assistant.

Good customer service skills are important to any company that regularly interacts with their customers, and the skills you’ll learn can be useful to any sector so you won’t be limited to just one industry. You could work in retail, hospitality, telecommunications, leisure, or even a bank.

You’ll spend your time face to face or on the phone with customers, answering their questions, helping and advising, responding to complaints and generally assisting them with their problems.

By proving your great customer service skills, thinking on your feet and being calm and positive, you can quickly progress to team leaders, supervisors or management roles.

When you study with DTS, you get a personal Assessor who will feedback comments so you know how you are doing and your Assessor will give you guidance in that feedback, so you can develop your skills and maximise your potential.
